THANK YOU HUDSON!!!

We’re incredibly grateful to the community for its overwhelming support in passing Issue 12. Your vote is more than just approval of funding—it’s a powerful statement about the value this community places on life-long learning, access to knowledge, exchange of ideas, and shared public spaces.

Because of you, the Hudson Library & Historical Society can continue to provide the types of resources and services that our community has come to expect and appreciate — offering programs for all ages and maintaining a welcoming place for everyone. This investment will have a lasting impact on education, connection, and opportunity throughout our community.

Standing at polling stations on Election Day, we were overwhelmed by the number of people who came out to vote just so that they could support the Library.  It was gratifying to hear that the Library is deeply meaningful to the people it serves.  Thank you for believing in the library and in the role it plays in bringing people together. We’re honored to serve you and excited for the years ahead.

Your support allows Hudson Library to continue providing vital services to your community. A failure to pass this levy means services will be cut.

Hudson Library Provides:

  • Children’s Programming
  • Early literacy
  • Homework Help
  • Support for Seniors
  • Job Seeker Resources
  • Safe Community Space

Renewal of a 2.9 mill levy plus an increase of 0.6 mills. The levy would cost property owners $78 for every $100,000 of value.

Support Hudson’s Trusted Community Treasure

The Hudson Library is one of the most used community resources in the city, directly supporting 46,000 program attendees and loaning out 1.19 million borrowed items. This levy renewal with a modest increase keeps services whole and the community supported.
